These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through www.staplerstop.com. By placing an order through the website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
1. Orders
All orders are subject to product availability and successful payment.
After an order has been received, it will normally be processed within 1–3 working days. Once the order has been prepared for dispatch, delivery arrangements will be initiated using the applicable delivery service.
Order details should be reviewed carefully before an order is submitted. Where an order contains an error, please contact us promptly using the contact details provided on the website.
2. Delivery
Orders are delivered to customers in Europe and the United States using established delivery services, which may include DHL, FedEx and UPS Priority.
The standard delivery period is approximately 3–8 working days after dispatch. Actual delivery times may vary according to the destination and the progress of the delivery service.
Tracking information may be sent automatically to the email address provided at checkout when relevant tracking events occur, including dispatch, arrival at a logistics point and local delivery.
Customers are responsible for providing an accurate delivery address and a valid email address when placing an order.
3. Delayed Deliveries
If an order exceeds the standard delivery period, we will contact the relevant carrier and investigate the shipment.
Following the outcome of the investigation and the circumstances of the order, we may arrange either a full refund or a replacement shipment, subject to applicable statutory rights.
Where applicable law provides additional remedies for delayed or failed delivery, those rights remain unaffected.
4. Delivery Risk
For consumer purchases covered by applicable European consumer law, the risk of loss or damage to the goods remains with the seller until the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, physically receives the goods.
The handover of goods to a carrier does not by itself transfer the risk of loss or damage to the consumer.
This provision does not limit any mandatory rights that apply under the laws governing the relevant purchase. EU consumer rules provide that the risk generally transfers when the consumer or the designated third party acquires physical possession of the goods.
5. Right of Withdrawal
For consumer purchases covered by the EU right of withdrawal rules, the consumer generally has 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract without giving a reason, subject to applicable statutory exceptions.
For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day the consumer or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier, acquires physical possession of the goods.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer should contact us by email within the applicable withdrawal period and clearly state the decision to withdraw from the purchase.
Following notification of withdrawal, the goods should normally be returned in accordance with the applicable statutory requirements and the return instructions provided by us.
The customer is generally responsible for the direct cost of returning goods where permitted by applicable law and where the required information concerning return costs has been provided.
The customer may handle the goods to the extent necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. Where the value of the goods has been diminished through handling beyond what is necessary for this purpose, the applicable statutory rules concerning diminished value may apply.
6. Refunds Following Withdrawal
Where a valid right of withdrawal is exercised, refunds will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
Where required, the refund will include the applicable standard delivery charge paid by the consumer. Additional delivery costs resulting from the consumer selecting a more expensive delivery option than the least expensive standard delivery option may be excluded where permitted by law.
For sales contracts, the refund may be withheld until the goods have been returned or the customer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first, where permitted by applicable law.
7. Damaged or Defective Goods
If an order arrives damaged or a product has a defect, the customer should contact us by email as soon as reasonably possible and provide the order number together with clear photographs showing the relevant condition of the goods.
For straightforward cases, photographs may be sufficient for us to assess the matter. Where appropriate, we may arrange a refund or replacement without requiring the damaged item to be returned.
This procedure does not restrict any mandatory statutory remedies available to consumers in relation to defective, damaged or non-conforming goods.
8. Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions is intended to exclude or restrict mandatory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Where goods do not conform to the contract or applicable statutory requirements, the remedies available to the customer will be determined in accordance with the applicable consumer protection rules.
9. Product Information
Product information, specifications, quantities and other relevant details are provided on the applicable product page.
Customers should review the information provided before placing an order and select products according to their requirements.
Minor differences in colour or appearance may occur due to screen settings, lighting conditions or ordinary product variations.
10. Changes to Orders
Requests to change or cancel an order should be submitted as soon as possible after the order is placed.
Where an order has already entered processing or has been dispatched, changes may no longer be possible. In such circumstances, the customer may use any applicable cancellation or withdrawal rights provided by law.
